Providing community care

About the Clinic

Our multi-bed clinic offers acupuncture and shiatsu treatments in a calming, open-plan setting designed for comfort, privacy, and affordability. By treating several people at the same time in a spacious, relaxed environment, we’re able to make high-quality holistic care more accessible, without compromising on personal attention.

Why Multi-bed works

Our approach combines the benefits of community and efficiency. You’ll enjoy your own comfortable treatment space within a peaceful shared room, allowing you to relax deeply while still feeling part of a gentle, healing atmosphere. This setup also helps reduce costs, meaning you can receive the regular treatments often recommended for the best results. Each person still receives a full consultation and personalised treatment plan. You’re simply sharing the space, not the care.

Why Shen Space is Unique

Acupuncture Treatments

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow, known as Qi (chi). It is commonly used to relieve pain, reduce stress, and promote overall wellness. By targeting meridians, pathways through which energy flows, acupuncture aims to restore balance and support the body’s natural healing processes. It’s often used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional treatments.

Shiatsu treatment

Shiatsu Therapy

Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork based on traditional Chinese medicine principles. It involves applying gentle pressure with the fingers, thumbs, and palms to specific points on the body along energy pathways called meridians. The aim is to balance the body’s energy (Qi), relieve tension, improve circulation, and support overall health. Shiatsu is often used to reduce stress, ease muscular discomfort, and enhance the body’s natural healing ability in a deeply relaxing and non-invasive way.

    Some feedback

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing possitive results and hearing how  our clients  value the treatments we have given.

“The team at Jing Low-Cost Acupuncture offer an exceptional level of care. They are always welcoming, professional, and deeply attentive. Each treatment has brought genuine relief and a renewed sense of balance, and the advice offered is thoughtful and supportive. It is rare to find such quality treatment at an affordable cost — a true gift to the community. Highly recommended.”

    Muriel

“I enjoyed my acupuncture treatment at the Jing Institute in Brighton, where I felt well cared for by Alex and his tutor. Treatments take place in a rather pleasant and calming room.”

    Neil

Thave attended the low cost acupuncture clinic twice and plan on going back (had a holiday break). Although the information states you are treated in an open room, the consultations and treatment are very private. I saw 2 different practitioners who were very thorough and thoughtful in their considerations of my problem and explained the treatment. It’s a great service for the local community at a good cost and I will be returning. These are people who know what they are doing.
